Actually that’s a total lie.
I’m feeling quite the opposite of blue… orange? I’m such a happy camper right now its not even funny, summer is great and I cant be more excited for school to start. 🙂
But there has been major amounts of blue in my life lately.
Including this new workout top which I adore. Why yes I did take these pictures in the locker room at my gym.

I wish I could have snapped a picture of someones face when they came in a saw me standing like that. Can you say awkward??
On the food front these days I have been eating lots of this oatmeal everyday for breakfast. I still find it incredible that I keep coming up with new things do to with it.
Blueberry Muffin Oats
1/3 cup oats
2/3 cup water (or more for a thinner consistency)
2 tbsp flax meal
1 tbsp wheat germ
1/3 cup frozen blueberries
1 tsp vanilla extract
1-2 tbsp shredded coconut flakes
Heat water to a boil, in a bowl place all of your ingredients except your vanilla extract. Mix well. Add water once boiling, mix and then add your vanilla extract.
I also added some sliced banana and a handful of almonds to mine, yum! I enjoyed it parfait style.
I’m really getting into the groove with eating clean and working out. I love love love how much energy I have, and how much more like my old self I feel. Tonight I have a Zumba class! I am taking every class that I can since I am getting certified this september, i want to make sure I have as much practice as possible.
Also Earth Mama’s birthday is coming up this friday, and I want to make her something really special. Im thinking a cake. Something chocolate. Can you share your best chocolatey cake recipes with me??
